With everyone tuning into what will be the most watched and highest turnout election in history we all are asking what about Nov 5th? We have Americans from all walks of life taking a position. The election will be close and the entire world is on pins and needles waiting to see who wins and get a feel for "what next".

Lets focus on JUST YOU....whats next for you. Let me make a few suggestions that will no doubt improve your life no matter who wins. In the end it's not really the occupant of the white House that makes the biggest difference in your house.....It's you.

1. Stay positive, I mean lets get real, America has been having elections for 200 plus years and our system works! We always come out on top, we are the envy of the world and nothing could be greater then waking up American on 5 November! To get into more detail I'd even say reach out to the other side of where you are and thank them for the diversity of opinion that makes us so great! Stay Positive, find one thing you know the winner will do that all of us will benefit from. Stay Positive, we have too much good in our lives as Americans to go negative the day after an election; after all there are billions around the globe that still are oppressed, suffering and need our support. Count your blessing, hug your kids, kiss your spouse, say thanks to the check out clerk...stay positive...we are all Americans Today and tomorrow.

2. Get involved, go do something tomorrow for someone that makes an impact in their lives. Don't look to Washington for answers. Lets be honest, we all have a pretty low approval of our congress at this point. So get involved on November 5th, don't just sit back and watch. We all need to get in the game and stay in the game. Volunteer for a local charity, join and club, church or civic group. Help a homeless kid, military veteran, mentor a child....Get Involved and you'll feel better then you ever have. You'll also be hit with the reality YOU control you and you can make a difference!

3. Work and pay your bills off, with the economy the way it is we have an obligation to fix it not blame others for the mess. The thing we all can do that will have a ripple or butterfly effect is pay off our debt and work. Pick one bill and set a goal to pay it off in the next 120 days. Make that your holiday gift to yourself. If everyone of us paid off $500 in debt over the next 120 days our economy would explode with an infusion of over $70 Billion dollars. The ripple effect would be felt around the globe and we would stop this recession dead in it's tracks. The cash you ave left over each month by not paying $50 interest can pay for a dinner, gift for your kids or the little extras you want. Pay cash, pay off the debt and work an extra hour!

4. Last, put a flag in your yard and thank a veteran, a WWII vet, a Gulf War Vet, any vet. The pride you feel when you see a flag in your yard makes all of the above just crystallize. You realize when you come home from work that you are art of the greatest nation the world has ever seen. You're part of the greatest democracy on the plant, you're citizen that has abundance in life. Abundance of charity, wealth, happiness and love!

It's great to be an American and I encourage you to take action and on November 5th be positive, get involved, pay off a bill and put a flag in your yard. When you do.....Who won or lost will seem small!

Good article Victor.

I have found that I am responsible for my own feelings and actions. I do my best when capable of being of service to God and others.

Last week, I took a homeless gentleman to a doctor's appointment and though I don't like the smell of alcohol, he is still a person who deserves to be treated as such. It was also a good way to get out of my self pity.

I don't agree with everyone, but I don't have to argue and be right. Personally, in the end, I want to be sure that I have made peace with God and myself.

Thanks for joining my fan club also.

God bless you always,
